Trio Petroleum Corp. provided an operational update on August 7, 2025, detailing progress across its Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, South Salinas Project, and P.R. Spring, Utah assets. Production at the recently acquired Novacor fields in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, has stabilized between 60 and 70 barrels of oil per day (BOPD).
The company noted the potential for four additional re-entry wells and two fully equipped locations to be reactivated in Saskatchewan, each capable of adding 70 BOPD. At the South Salinas Project, the HV-3A discovery well, which produced oil in March 2024, is currently idled as the company assesses viability for increased production and explores a Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) project.
Trio views the P.R. Spring project in Utah as a highly scalable, low-risk field for rapid development, emphasizing the importance of establishing oil production at the first two wells at Asphalt Ridge. Additionally, the company announced the resignation of Stan Eschner, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors, effective August 1, 2025, though he will remain as a consultant until the end of the year.
