TriplePoint Venture Growth BDC Corp. announced the appointment of Mike L. Wilhelms as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective January 6, 2025. Mr. Wilhelms will also assume CFO responsibilities for TriplePoint Capital LLC, TPVG’s sponsor, and other affiliated TriplePoint entities.
Mr. Wilhelms brings over 30 years of financial leadership and private credit experience to the role, having worked with both public and private companies in the business development company, asset management, specialty finance, and public accounting sectors. His prior experience includes serving as CFO of Sabal Capital Holding Company, LLC and Crescent Capital BDC, Inc.
This appointment is expected to bolster TriplePoint’s leadership team, leveraging Mr. Wilhelms' proven track record in driving financial results at BDCs and asset management companies. His expertise is anticipated to support the company's long-term growth plans and enhance its financial management capabilities.
