ReposiTrak has secured a new contract with Fujii Produce, a Portland‑based distributor that supplies fresh fruits and vegetables to retailers and foodservice operators. The agreement will integrate Fujii’s supply chain into ReposiTrak’s Traceability Network, enabling the distributor to capture, store, and share standardized traceability records for thousands of products across its portfolio.
Fujii Produce’s operations span more than 35 years and serve a broad client base that includes major retailers such as Walmart, Kroger and Target. By joining ReposiTrak’s platform, Fujii will be able to meet the stringent traceability requirements that these retailers are imposing on their suppliers, positioning the distributor ahead of the FDA’s July 20 2028 enforcement deadline for the Food Traceability Rule (FSMA 204).
The partnership aligns with the broader industry push for full traceability, driven by both regulatory mandates and retailer expectations. ReposiTrak’s network is designed to streamline data exchange and includes a 500‑plus point error‑checking process that ensures data integrity, a critical feature as suppliers face increasing scrutiny from regulators and customers alike.
ReposiTrak’s market position has been reinforced by this deal. The company’s market capitalization stands at approximately $226 million, and it reported a 9.7% revenue growth and an EPS of $0.36 in the most recent quarter. The new contract expands the network’s reach and supports the company’s strategy of scaling through automated onboarding tools, which have accelerated customer acquisition across the food traceability market.
The deal underscores ReposiTrak’s trajectory in a market projected to grow at a CAGR of 7.5%–13%. By securing a high‑profile distributor, the company strengthens its competitive advantage, enhances its data ecosystem, and positions itself to capture additional contracts as retailers and regulators tighten traceability requirements.
