T. Rowe Price Group, Inc. announced today, October 18 2025, that its Board of Directors has elected Allan Golston and Richard Verma as independent directors. The appointment expands the board’s expertise and enhances its independent oversight. Both directors will serve on the board for the remainder of the fiscal year and beyond, subject to the company’s standard election procedures.
Allan Golston is the president of the United States Program at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where he has led initiatives in education, global health, and community development. Prior to that, he served as interim executive director of the Foundation’s Global Health Program and as chief financial and administrative officer. He also held senior finance positions at the Swedish Health System and the University of Colorado Hospital, and has served on the boards of Harley‑Davidson and Stryker Corporation.
Richard Verma is the former chief administrative officer for Mastercard Incorporated and has held senior roles in government, including deputy secretary of state for management and resources and U.S. ambassador to India. He has a background in public policy, global affairs, and corporate governance, and previously served on Mastercard’s board from 2018 to 2023. CEO Rob Sharps welcomed the new directors, noting that their diverse experience in philanthropy, finance, and international policy will support the company’s growth and governance objectives.
