Trupanion has renewed its partnership with the Canadian Kennel Club, extending coverage to more than 13,000 CKC‑registered puppies across Canada.
Under the renewed agreement, Trupanion has paid more than $7.4 million USD (about $10.4 million CAD) in veterinary claims for CKC puppies, reflecting the scale of the partnership.
The Go Home Day Offer, a core benefit of the partnership, provides 30 days of full coverage at no upfront cost, helping reduce pet surrender risk and fostering long‑term customer relationships.
The renewal aligns with Trupanion’s strategy to grow its subscription business by deepening relationships with key veterinary and breeding partners. The partnership gives Trupanion access to a large, under‑penetrated segment of the Canadian market, supporting new member acquisition and reinforcing its position as a leading provider of pet medical insurance.
