Trane Technologies plc announced on September 30, 2025 that Victoria Lazar will serve as senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary, effective September 29, 2025. The appointment places Lazar in charge of all legal and compliance activities for the company worldwide, reporting directly to Chair and CEO Dave Regnery.
Lazar brings more than two decades of experience in high‑profile legal roles across the energy, technology, aviation and industrial sectors. Prior to joining Trane, she was executive vice president, chief legal officer and corporate secretary at TechnipFMC plc, where she led the legal team through the successful spin‑off of Technip Energies. She also held senior general counsel positions at Bristow Group Inc., General Electric and Electronic Data Systems Corporation, and began her career in private practice at Baker Botts.
The appointment is significant for Trane because it strengthens the company’s governance and risk‑management framework at a time when the firm is expanding its sustainability initiatives and navigating complex regulatory environments. Lazar’s expertise in corporate governance, strategic transactions, enterprise risk management and sustainability matters is expected to support Trane’s purpose‑driven strategy and enhance its ability to manage global operations and compliance obligations.
