This collaboration aims to provide French and international businesses with a rich, interactive, and secure communications experience directly in their messaging apps.
As of June 1, 2025, RCS already covers over 70% of the mobile base in France, representing more than 45 million smartphones, with projections to reach 85% by the end of the year. This widespread adoption positions RCS as the new standard for mobile messaging, enhancing brand credibility and customer engagement.
Twilio's 2025 State of Customer Engagement Report indicates that 3 in 4 businesses plan to invest in RCS messaging this year, and 81% of consumers prefer RCS over traditional SMS. This partnership enables businesses to leverage RCS features like images, carousels, and actionable buttons, with seamless fallback to SMS for uncovered mobile users.
