Textron Inc. Reports Q3 2025 Earnings, Beats Estimates with $1.31 EPS

Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) today reported its third‑quarter 2025 results, posting earnings per share of $1.31 versus $1.18 a year earlier and adjusted earnings of $1.55 versus $1.40. Total revenue for the quarter was $3.602 billion, a 5% year‑over‑year increase, driven by higher sales in its Aviation, Bell, and Systems segments.

Segment highlights included Aviation revenue of $1.477 billion (up 10%) and a profit of $179 million, Bell revenue of $1.026 billion (up 10%) with a profit of $92 million, and Systems revenue of $307 million (up 2%) and profit of $52 million. The Industrial segment saw revenue decline 9% to $761 million, while Finance revenue doubled to $26 million and profit rose to $18 million. Cash flow from operating activities for the manufacturing group reached $348 million, up from $208 million a year earlier, and the company repurchased $206 million of shares during the quarter.

Textron reiterated its full‑year 2025 guidance, projecting GAAP earnings per share of $5.19 to $5.39 and adjusted earnings per share of $6.00 to $6.20. Manufacturing cash flow before pension contributions is expected to be $900 million to $1.0 billion. The company also announced a quarterly dividend of $0.02 per share, payable January 1 2026 to holders of record on December 12 2025.
