Tigo Energy announced that its Flex module‑level power electronics (MLPE) are now certified to operate with selected single‑phase and three‑phase Weco hybrid solar inverters, covering the TS4‑A and TS4‑X product families. The certification allows installers to combine Tigo’s optimizers with Weco’s inverters in a single system, simplifying design and installation for both residential and commercial projects.

The partnership extends Tigo’s open‑architecture ecosystem, giving designers and installers greater flexibility to optimize performance and reduce installation complexity. By enabling compatibility with a broader range of inverters, Tigo can better serve the growing repowering market, where aging solar installations are upgraded with inverter‑agnostic solutions. The certification is expected to improve system yield in scenarios with partial shading or module mismatch, a key advantage for installers looking to maximize energy production.

"The compatibility between our inverter solutions and Tigo optimizers represents a significant step forward for the entire industry," said Federico Cusumano, R&D manager at Weco. Gal Bauer, senior director of validation, growth, and product management at Tigo, added, "Certified compatibility with Weco inverters ensures that Tigo Flex MLPE technology can be deployed exactly where it delivers the most value, while maintaining a smooth commissioning process and predictable system behavior."

A joint webinar will be held on February 5 at 4:30 p.m. CET, where Tigo and Weco will present technical details and real‑world case studies to support adoption by the solar installation community.
