EagleNXT announced that it has sold two eBee VISION unmanned aerial systems to the NATO‑led Kosovo Force (KFOR). The transaction adds two high‑performance, fixed‑wing drones to KFOR’s existing fleet, expanding the force’s real‑time situational awareness and border‑surveillance capabilities.

The eBee VISION platform is a lightweight, fixed‑wing UAS that can fly for up to 90 minutes, features AES‑256 encryption, and can be deployed in three minutes. It is Blue UAS‑cleared by the U.S. Department of Defense and complies with the National Defense Authorization Act, giving it a clear advantage in U.S. and allied procurement processes.

This sale is part of EagleNXT’s broader strategy to leverage its FAA and EASA approvals to capture defense contracts. The company has previously sold eBee TAC drones to the U.S. Army and spare parts to the UAE, and the KFOR contract signals that its Blue UAS certification is translating into tangible NATO‑aligned sales and may open doors to further NATO procurement opportunities.

Financially, EagleNXT has been operating with negative operating and net margins and declining revenue growth, and its Altman Z‑Score of –2.66 places it in the distress zone. The financial terms of the KFOR sale were not disclosed, but the contract represents a positive revenue addition and a validation of the company’s defense market traction amid ongoing financial challenges.

Bill Irby, CEO of EagleNXT, said, “Equipping NATO’s longstanding peace‑support operation in Kosovo with our proven eBee VISION systems helps allied forces operate more efficiently, effectively, and safely, and we’re honored to support their ongoing operations.” He added that the Blue UAS certification and NDAA compliance are key enablers for rapid acquisition by U.S. forces and allies.

Analysts have responded positively to the contract, noting that it demonstrates EagleNXT’s ability to secure high‑profile defense sales and that the Blue UAS certification differentiates the company in a competitive market, even as the company continues to address its financial headwinds.
