UFP Packaging Unveils New Design and Development Center in Newnan, Georgia

UFP Packaging announced the opening of its 10,000-square-foot Packaging Design and Development Center (DDC) at its Newnan, Georgia, facility on November 25, 2024. This new center is designed to foster collaboration and innovation with customers, offering expanded spaces for direct engagement in lab testing and design reviews. The DDC is equipped with a fully functional prototyping shop and an ISTA-certified testing laboratory, enabling rigorous product protection and design refinement. A key focus of the center is sustainability, aiming to reduce material waste and maximize protection within the supply chain. Strategically located near Atlanta, Georgia, the facility is expected to enhance service, speed, and product quality for customers across the United States. PalletOne, a UFP Packaging company, will also utilize the center for unit load design classes and pallet optimization services.
