The facility has achieved certification as an external laboratory partner by Volkswagen de Mexico, enabling it to test automotive components and performance materials from Volkswagen's suppliers. This is significant as Mexico is the world's seventh-largest passenger vehicle manufacturer, with 88% of its vehicles exported.
This strategic investment broadens UL Solutions' testing services for exports to the United States, Canada, and throughout Latin America, while also meeting local market needs.
