Energy Fuels Inc. announced on May 1, 2025, that its Pinyon Plain mine in Arizona achieved a record monthly production in April 2025. The mine produced 151,400 pounds of U3O8 contained in 4,604 tons of ore, at an average grade of 1.64% eU3O8. This production rate represents the largest monthly output since mining operations began last year, with mined ore grades significantly exceeding previous gamma probe estimates. The company anticipates mining considerably more uranium from the Main Zone of the deposit than initially described in the February 2023 Pre-Feasibility Study. Additionally, exceptional results were reported from the 2024-2025 underground drill program in the Juniper Zone at Pinyon Plain. These new high-grade intercepts have the potential to significantly increase mineable uranium resources and lead to lower future mining and milling costs per pound.
