Valaris Limited announced significant multi-year contract awards for two of its drillships, VALARIS DS-16 and VALARIS DS-18, with Anadarko Petroleum Corporation in the Gulf of America. The VALARIS DS-16 received a 940-day contract extension, set to begin in June 2026.
The VALARIS DS-18 was awarded a new 914-day contract, which is expected to commence in mid-fourth quarter 2026. These awards collectively add approximately $760 million to Valaris's contracted revenue backlog.
These contracts underscore the strong demand for Valaris's high-specification assets and its operational capabilities. The company has secured approximately $1.9 billion in new contract backlog so far this year, reflecting successful execution of its commercial strategy and supporting future earnings and cash flow.
