VIAVI Solutions Inc. introduced the 800G transport module for its OneAdvisor 800 platform on March 18, 2025, expanding its portfolio of high-speed test solutions. This new module adds to the industry's most integrated and compact tool for testing up to 800G, addressing the increasing development and deployment of high-speed fiber and transport technologies. The module will be showcased at the Optical Fiber Communication (OFC) Conference and Exposition.
Driven by AI/ML and other high-bandwidth applications, service providers and manufacturers are rapidly building out data center and metro/core networks. The 800G transport module delivers comprehensive test capability, built-in guidance, and automatic configuration to help field technicians install and maintain these high-capacity networks. Its superior battery life and industry-leading heat dissipation make it well-suited for 800G testing in various environments.
The module supports both traditional AOC/DAC cable tests and new AEC/ACC tests within a single unit, and is compatible with QSFP and OSFP form factors.
