Telefônica Brasil reported robust financial results for the second quarter of 2025, with net revenue expanding by 7.1% year-over-year. This growth was driven by strong performances in postpaid mobile and fiber revenues, which increased by 10.6% and 10.4% year-over-year, respectively. The postpaid customer base grew by 7.0% year-over-year, reaching 68.5 million accesses, reflecting successful migrations and new customer acquisitions.
Mobile ARPU reached R$31.1, marking the highest value in the company's history, an increase of 5.1% year-over-year, supported by annual price adjustments. Fixed revenue increased by 8.0% year-over-year, with Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) revenue growing by 10.4% and Corporate Data, ICT, and Digital Services revenues surging by 20.7%. The FTTH network expanded to 30.1 million homes passed, up 10.2% year-over-year, with 7.4 million homes connected, a 12.6% increase.
EBITDA grew by 8.8% year-over-year, achieving a margin of 40.5%, an increase of 0.6 percentage points in the annual comparison. Net income attributed to Telefônica Brasil reached R$1,344 million in the quarter, an increase of 10.0% year-over-year. Capital expenditure (CapEx) totaled R$2,439 million, an increase of 4.2% year-over-year, representing 16.7% of revenues, a reduction of 0.5 percentage points year-over-year, indicating continued optimization of capital intensity. The 5G network is now present in 596 cities, covering 64% of the Brazilian population.
The company continued its strong commitment to shareholder remuneration, with R$5,233 million paid to shareholders by the end of July 2025. This included a R$2,000 million payment related to the second capital reduction event on July 15, 2025. An additional R$330 million in interest on equity was deliberated, bringing the total to R$1.7 billion to be paid until April 30, 2026, reaffirming the commitment to distribute at least 100% of net income for 2024 to 2026.
