Valens Semiconductor announced that Yoram Salinger will become its chief executive officer and a board member, effective November 13, 2025. Salinger succeeds Gideon Ben‑Zvi, who will step down as CEO by the end of 2025 but will remain on the board.

Salinger brings more than 25 years of experience leading high‑tech companies, most recently as CEO of cybersecurity firm Perception Point, which was acquired by Fortinet in 2024, and as former CEO of automotive‑software company Red‑Bend Software, acquired by Harman. His track record includes driving revenue growth, managing large‑scale acquisitions, and integrating technology platforms across automotive and industrial markets.

Valens plans to expand its MIPI A‑PHY and HDBaseT technologies into automotive, industrial machine‑vision, and medical markets. The company has reported five consecutive quarters of revenue growth, with Q4 2024 revenue of $16.7 million and full‑year 2024 revenue of $57.9 million, down from $84.2 million in 2023. Management updated its full‑year 2025 revenue guidance to $66 million to $71 million, reflecting tariff impacts.

Board changes accompany the leadership transition: Dr. Eyal Kishon and Dror Jerushalmi are stepping down, while Igal Rotem has recently joined the board. Salinger’s appointment is expected to accelerate product development, deepen customer relationships, and pursue strategic acquisitions that complement Valens’ existing technology stack.

In Q2 2025, Valens’ Cross‑Industry Business segment generated approximately 75% of total revenue ($12.8 million), while the automotive segment contributed about 25% ($4.3 million). The company’s focus on automotive software and cybersecurity aligns with Salinger’s expertise.
