The dispute centered on post-production revenue deductions, and its settlement provides clarity and a significant financial benefit to Vitesse.
As part of the resolution, Vitesse received a one-time cash payment of $24 million. This substantial inflow of capital directly impacts the company's liquidity and financial position, contributing to its overall strength.
Additionally, Vitesse has elected to take virtually all of its gas production in-kind from the related wells. The company has also entered into long-term gas gathering, processing, and marketing agreements with Hess and its affiliates, securing future operational terms and revenue streams.
