The company introduced over 40 new training scenarios since the previous year, expanding its content library to include specialized training for healthcare and corrections industries. This expansion includes new prison scenarios, inmate models, and medical equipment models, alongside new emotionally disturbed persons training.
A key technological advancement unveiled was True-Fire, an upgraded recoil kit technology designed to provide realistic force simulation without false fires. This technology is available as an upgrade for existing users, ensuring both new and current partners can benefit from enhanced realism in training. Additionally, VirTra showcased its V-XR extended reality platform, which has evolved with new features and scenarios, marking the company's foray into next-generation headset-based training.
The new content also includes specialized training for adults with autism, developed in collaboration with the Southwest Autism Research & Research Center (SARRC), offering two hours of certified curriculum. These developments aim to strengthen VirTra's position as a leader in immersive training technology by addressing evolving training needs and expanding its market reach into new sectors.
