VivoPower International PLC announced on June 11, 2025, the launch of a definitive partnership with Flare to generate yield on its digital assets. This agreement initiates the deployment of VivoPower’s XRP holdings through a scalable framework, beginning with an initial phase of US$100 million.
This partnership marks the first major execution of VivoPower's new corporate strategy, which centers on an XRP-centric treasury. It also serves as a significant validation of the XRP ecosystem's utility for institutional treasury management, establishing the first major treasury management use case on the Flare network.
The strategy is designed to be regenerative, with VivoPower generating yield via protocols on Flare, such as Firelight, and reinvesting that income directly back into its core XRP holdings. This aims to create a perpetually compounding and capital-efficient treasury, with VivoPower also adopting Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin as its primary cash-equivalent reserve.
