Wallbox announced on June 19, 2025, a collaboration with PowerGo, a charge point operator, to accelerate the deployment of AC and DC charging infrastructure across Essendi hotels in the Netherlands. This partnership combines Wallbox’s advanced charging technology with PowerGo’s renewable energy-powered infrastructure.
The installations will feature Wallbox’s Em4 AC charger, designed for high-traffic environments, and the Supernova DC fast charger. These models support a seamless user experience, remote management, and integration with renewable energy sources, aligning with PowerGo’s green charging solutions.
Key milestones have already been reached, with the first installation becoming operational at Mercure Amsterdam City in May, offering six 22 kW AC charging points and planned 150 kW DC points. Novotel Amsterdam City also became operational in June with two 150 kW DC and six 22 kW AC charging points, marking the beginning of a broader rollout within Essendi’s hotel portfolio.
