Wallbox today announced the Supernova PowerRing, a modular fast‑charging system that delivers up to 400 kW to a single vehicle and can aggregate up to 720 kW across a site. The design allows operators to add or remove chargers without re‑engineering the site, reducing installation complexity and cost.

The modular architecture means a site can start with a single 400 kW unit and scale to a full 720 kW array as demand grows, keeping footprint and capital outlay low. This flexibility is intended to appeal to destination and semi‑public operators who need a future‑proof solution that can adapt to changing vehicle power levels.

Wallbox plans to roll out the PowerRing in Q1 2026, beginning in Southern Europe, Benelux, and the UK/Ireland, with subsequent phases extending to the United States. The phased approach allows the company to refine the product in high‑density markets before expanding globally.

The launch positions Wallbox to capture the growing demand for high‑power, scalable charging infrastructure. By offering a compact, high‑output solution, the company can serve more drivers while minimizing site footprint, potentially becoming a significant revenue driver as the EV market expands.

Eduard Castañeda, Chief Product & Technology Officer, said, “Operators need charging systems that make economic sense today while being ready for the future. Supernova PowerRing was designed to do exactly that, delivering flexibility, performance, and reliability, all within a remarkably compact footprint.”

Wallbox’s Q3 2025 financial results showed a modest 2 % year‑over‑year revenue increase to €35.5 million and a gross margin improvement to 39.8 %. The company emphasized a focus on reigniting revenue growth amid a volatile EV environment, and the PowerRing launch aligns with that strategy by expanding its high‑power portfolio and strengthening its competitive edge.
