Woodside Energy has clinched an LNG Heads of Agreement with Türkiye’s Boru Hatları ile Petrol Taşıma A.Ş. (BOTAŞ), the Turkish state-owned petroleum company. This agreement will see Woodside supply approximately 5.8 billion cubic meters natural gas equivalent of liquefied natural gas (LNG).
The supply deal is for up to nine years, commencing from 2030, and will primarily be sourced from Woodside's Louisiana LNG project. This marks a significant expansion of Woodside's market reach into the Turkish energy sector.
This landmark agreement further cements Woodside’s ambitions to grow its presence in global energy markets and secure long-term revenue streams. It underscores the increasing demand for LNG and Woodside's role in meeting it.
