The ADS Foundation, primarily funded by Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc., announced a $5 million deposit into Adelphi Bank on December 3, 2024. Adelphi Bank is the first Black-owned bank established in the United States since 2000 and the only one in Ohio.
This deposit aligns with the ADS Foundation’s mission to build resilient communities and promote equitable access in areas such as recycling, education, mental health, housing, and water. The initiative aims to uplift central Ohio’s communities of color.
Adelphi Bank is committed to reinvesting these funds into the community through loans and financial services, with a particular focus on supporting minority- and women-owned small businesses. This partnership is expected to drive meaningful change and foster economic equality.
