Western Copper and Gold Announces Election of Directors at Annual Shareholders' Meeting

Western Copper and Gold Corporation announced the voting results from its Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on June 12, 2025. A total of 99,165,184 common shares were represented at the meeting, accounting for 49.58% of the outstanding common shares.

Pamela O'Hara was elected to the board of directors with 99.79% of the votes cast for her election. Her election formalizes the addition of her extensive experience in advancing mining and transportation infrastructure projects, particularly in the Yukon, to the company's governance.

The re-election of other directors, including Raymond Threlkeld, Sandeep Singh, Robert Chausse, Michael Vitton, and Klaus Zeitler, also occurred. The appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as the auditor was approved with 99.77% of votes for.
