WesBanco, Inc. announced a joint effort with the Paisley Foundation and the Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley (CFOV) to establish the Disaster Response and Recovery Fund. This fund will support nonprofits aiding individuals and families affected by the devastating flash flooding in the Upper Ohio Valley on June 14, 2025.
To initiate the campaign, WesBanco and the Paisley Foundation are each contributing $25,000 to the fund. All donations raised will directly support immediate and longer-term recovery efforts in the eight-county region served by the CFOV.
Dave Klick, Upper Ohio Valley Market President for WesBanco, emphasized the company's deep commitment to its communities, especially in times of crisis, noting that Wheeling is both its headquarters and home to many impacted employees. The initiative invites other local businesses and individuals to contribute to the recovery efforts.
