Xperi Inc. has broadened the reach of its TiVo OS media platform, which now powers smart TVs from leading manufacturers as well as set‑top boxes, soundbars and mini‑LED monitors. The company has added new television partners to the TiVo OS ecosystem and reports that the TiVo One app has reached 4.8 million monthly active users, underscoring the platform’s growing user base.
The company also announced that Mercedes‑Benz will deploy its DTS AutoStage Video Service, powered by TiVo, in upcoming vehicles. The debut of the service is scheduled for CES 2026, which runs from January 6‑9. In addition to video, Mercedes‑Benz will adopt Xperi’s full suite of connected‑car offerings—including HD Radio, DTS AutoStage Audio and DTS:X immersive audio—making this the first time the automaker will integrate Xperi’s complete entertainment ecosystem.
Financially, Xperi reported Q4 2024 revenue of $122.4 million and a non‑GAAP EPS of $0.39. In Q1 2025 the company posted revenue of $114 million and an EPS of $0.16, a 4% year‑over‑year decline in revenue but a 200% jump in adjusted EBITDA to $16 million, reflecting a margin of 18.6% in Q4 2024. These results demonstrate that Xperi’s cost‑control initiatives are translating into higher profitability even as revenue growth moderates.
CEO Jon Kirchner said the company has “achieved nearly all strategic growth goals for the year,” citing the expansion of TiVo OS and the Mercedes‑Benz partnership as key milestones. Jeff Jury, senior vice president and general manager of immersive entertainment, highlighted that the DTS AutoStage platform delivers a unified digital entertainment solution for the car, reinforcing Xperi’s position in the connected‑car market.
Strategically, the TiVo OS expansion positions Xperi against dominant streaming platforms such as Google TV and Amazon Fire, while the Mercedes‑Benz deal validates the company’s connected‑car strategy and opens a path to monetization through advertising and data services across a growing vehicle fleet.
