XPeng Motors officially launched the all-electric hatchback sedan MONA M03 Max in China, bringing high-level autonomous driving technology and premium smart features to the RMB 150,000 (approximately $20,000) price segment. This move aims to make advanced AI driving accessible to the mass market.
The MONA M03 series has already achieved significant success, with 120,000 units delivered as of May 2025, setting a new production speed record among Chinese EV startups. The M03 was also awarded the 2024 Car of the Year by China's Xuanyuan Award.
Equipped with XPeng's fully self-developed AI Turing Smart Driving System and dual NVIDIA Orin-X chipsets (508 TOPS computing power), the M03 Max offers high-level AI assisted driving without added cost or subscriptions. Its intelligent cockpit features the upgraded AI Tianji System 5.7.0, adding over 300 new features and enhancing voice interaction.
