Xtra‑Gold announced the first 3D inversion results from a high‑resolution drone‑borne magnetic survey conducted at its Cobra Creek Gold Corridor prospect, part of the Kibi Gold Project in Ghana. The survey covered 650 line‑kilometers over a 25‑square‑kilometer area, with 50‑meter flight and line spacing, and was carried out by SEMS Exploration using a GEM Systems AirBIRD magnetometer.

Modelling revealed a sharp susceptibility contrast between the Cobra Creek quartz‑feldspar porphyry body and surrounding rocks, and identified a new high‑magnetic‑susceptibility target along the southeast flank of the mineralization. The anomaly represents a potential extension of the porphyry system and will be the focus of upcoming drilling.

The new data enhances Xtra‑Gold’s ability to delineate additional gold targets within the Kibi Gold Project, supporting its exploration strategy and potentially expanding the resource footprint. The company’s use of drone‑borne magnetic surveys demonstrates a cost‑effective, proprietary approach that can accelerate target definition in remote areas.

Ghana’s gold sector remains a key driver of the country’s economy, and the Kibi Gold Belt is geologically analogous to the well‑produced Ashanti Belt. Xtra‑Gold’s land position in this belt, combined with the new survey results, positions the company to capitalize on a region with proven gold potential. The company’s exploration program at Cobra Creek has previously yielded significant gold intercepts, and the new high‑susceptibility target could further strengthen the project’s resource case.

Xtra‑Gold plans to commence follow‑up drilling on the new target in the coming months, with the objective of validating the magnetic anomaly and refining the resource estimate. The company’s exploration strategy emphasizes advanced geophysical techniques to reduce costs and improve target accuracy, aligning with its broader goal of expanding the Kibi Gold Project’s resource base.
