Yunji Reports Increased Net Loss in First Half 2025 Amid Revenue Decline

Yunji Inc. reported total revenues of RMB158.3 million (US$22.1 million) for the first half of 2025, a decrease from RMB233.8 million in the same period of 2024. This decline was primarily attributed to soft consumer confidence and the company's ongoing strategy to refine product selection and optimize its supplier and merchant bases.

The company experienced a significant increase in operating expenses, which rose by 20.3% to RMB179.4 million (US$25.0 million) from RMB149.1 million in the first half of 2024. This led to a loss from operations of RMB100.4 million (US$14.0 million), compared to RMB32.4 million in the prior year period.

Yunji's net loss for the first half of 2025 widened substantially to RMB100.7 million (US$14.1 million), compared to a net loss of RMB8.0 million in the first half of 2024. Adjusted net loss also increased to RMB100.5 million (US$14.0 million) from RMB6.7 million year-over-year. Basic and diluted net loss per share was RMB0.05, compared to RMB0.00 in the same period of 2024.

Management reiterated its strategic transformation towards an organic living advocate, building an integrated portfolio of health products, beauty offerings, and wellness experiences. The company is focused on deepening customer engagement and expanding user acquisition through online and offline channels, while optimizing its cost structure and capital allocation.
