KFC's U.S. headquarters will relocate from Louisville, Kentucky, to Plano, Texas, as announced on February 18, 2025. This move is part of Yum! Brands' broader strategy to establish two corporate headquarters in the U.S., with Plano housing KFC and Pizza Hut global teams, and Irvine, California, for Taco Bell and The Habit Burger Grill.
Approximately 100 KFC U.S. corporate employees will be required to relocate over the next six months, with an additional 90 U.S. remote workers also asked to move to their respective brand campuses. Yum! Brands and the KFC Foundation will maintain corporate offices in Louisville.
Yum! Brands CEO David Gibbs stated that these changes are intended to position the company for sustainable growth and enhance its competitive advantage by bringing more people together. Employees will receive relocation and transition support during this process.
