YY Group Holding Limited announced the creation of a new group‑level Learning & Organizational Development (L&OD) function to support its rapid global expansion across Asia, Europe, Africa, Oceania and the Middle East.
The L&OD team will be led by Ms. Nor Salehati, with Mr. Wee Jing Ye as deputy head. Their mandate is to design and implement group‑wide learning frameworks and leadership development programs that align with YY Group’s long‑term growth objectives and facilitate the integration of newly acquired subsidiaries.
YY Group’s expansion has been driven by a dual‑vertical model of on‑demand workforce solutions and integrated facilities management services. In the first half of 2025 the company reported revenue up 33.7% to $25.8 million and gross profit up 79.5% to $4.3 million, improving its gross‑profit margin to 16.6%. The new L&OD function is part of a strategic pivot from rapid acquisition to disciplined integration and sustainable growth.
CEO Mike Fu emphasized that investing in skills and leadership is essential to sustain growth. He said the L&OD function will embed structured learning and a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring teams are aligned, well‑equipped and positioned to execute as one integrated YY Group.
By consolidating talent development, YY Group aims to standardize operational skills across diverse regions, improve the integration of acquisitions, and build a robust internal leadership pipeline. This supports operational scalability, reduces cultural fragmentation and positions the company for long‑term value creation.
The launch signals YY Group’s commitment to disciplined integration and long‑term value creation as it continues its global expansion.
