ZenaTech, Inc. announced that its subsidiary, ZenaDrone, will commence testing work this quarter on a high-density battery for the ZenaDrone 1000 multifunction AI drone. These batteries are designed for defense and commercial applications.
High-density batteries are lightweight and enable longer drone flight times, increased reliability, and endurance for extended defense missions, as well as heavier payloads. ZenaDrone will utilize batteries from ZenaTech’s affiliated company, Galaxy Batteries Inc.
CEO Shaun Passley, Ph.D., emphasized that high-density batteries are key to achieving longer flight times and reliability in harsh military defense operations, such as cargo resupply and intelligence gathering. This testing is important for ZenaTech's goal of becoming a Blue UAS-certified supplier to US defense branches and other military organizations.
