ZenaTech, Inc. announced that its US-based ZenaDrone subsidiary plans to expand its Phoenix, Arizona manufacturing facility to produce drones for US commercial customers, in addition to its planned production for the US military. This expansion will add up to 2,000 square feet of production space over the next two months.

This move allows ZenaDrone to avoid increasing prices for US commercial customers, offsetting tariff costs on Chinese imports. The company expects this expansion to create over 150 new jobs in the region by the end of 2026.

CEO Shaun Passley, Ph.D., stated that ZenaTech's long-term thinking, smart resource management, and supply chain preparedness position it well to navigate global shifts. The increased US bans on Chinese drones and components, along with local incentives for domestic production, provide a competitive advantage for ZenaTech in both government and commercial markets.
