ZenaTech, Inc. announced that its subsidiary, ZenaDrone, has commenced work towards obtaining Green UAS (Unmanned Aerial System) certification for its IQ Square drone. This certification targets applications including land survey, bridge inspections, and other infrastructure inspections for US Defense agencies.
The ZenaDrone team has begun reviewing and assessing its cybersecurity practices, standards compliance, product security, and supply chain documentation in preparation for this certification. CEO Shaun Passley, Ph.D., stated that Green UAS certification enhances credibility by ensuring compliance with cybersecurity and supply chain security standards, which are essential for government contracts.
This certification is considered a crucial steppingstone toward qualifying for Blue UAS certification, which would allow direct sales to US defense branches. The Green UAS certification will also make the IQ Square drone more attractive to commercial sector buyers seeking secure and trusted drone solutions.
