ZenaTech, Inc. announced the acquisition of KJM Land Surveying LLC, a well-established Pensacola, Florida land survey engineering company. This marks ZenaTech’s second acquisition as part of its strategy to disrupt the land survey industry with drones.
The acquisition establishes a Southeast US regional base for ZenaTech’s national Drone-as-a-Service (DaaS) business, leveraging drone solutions from its subsidiary ZenaDrone. CEO Shaun Passley, Ph.D., stated that this is another step in the DaaS strategy, establishing an experienced team and customer relationships in the Southeast.
The US Surveying and Mapping Services industry is estimated at $10.3 billion, growing at least 3% annually. ZenaTech aims to significantly disrupt this market at scale using drone technologies, with this acquisition contributing to accretive revenue over the short and long term.
