ZenaTech, Inc. announced it has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to acquire a seventh land survey engineering company, located in Florida. This marks the fourth LOI in the Southeast region for the company.
Upon completion, this would be ZenaTech's second closed acquisition in the Southeast Region, serving as a launchpad for further regional development and its national Drone-as-a-Service (DaaS) business model. Florida is considered strategic due to its year-round flying conditions, favorable innovation environment, and existing government drone use for public safety, disaster response, and transportation monitoring.
CEO Shaun Passley, Ph.D., highlighted multiple growth paths in Florida's commercial sector, including agriculture, real estate, construction, and industrial inspection applications. The global drone surveying market is projected to be worth over $8 billion globally by 2030, expanding at a CAGR of 15-20%.
