ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. announced new long-term charter agreements for ten 11,500 TEU liquefied natural gas (LNG) dual-fuel container vessels. The total charter hire consideration for these vessels is approximately $2.3 billion, representing a significant investment in ZIM's future fleet.

Seven of these vessels will be chartered from Containers Ventures Holdings Inc., an affiliate of the TMS Group, while the remaining three will be chartered from a shipping company affiliated with Kenon Holdings, Ltd. These newbuild vessels are scheduled for delivery between 2027 and 2028.

This strategic move further strengthens ZIM's core LNG fleet, which is a critical commercial differentiator and supports the company's decarbonization objectives. The addition of this versatile capacity is expected to enhance ZIM's commercial agility and growth potential across its global trades, contributing to a modernized and competitive fleet.
