Bruce Alexander Retires as CEO of Vectra Bank Colorado

Vectra Bank Colorado, a division of Zions Bancorporation, announced the retirement of its President and CEO, Bruce Alexander. Mr. Alexander is stepping down after a 25-year tenure marked by significant achievements and growth. Under his leadership, Vectra Bank expanded its assets from $1 billion to $4 billion. Mr. Alexander's vision guided the bank through various economic cycles and challenges, including the Great Recession and the regional banking crisis of 2023. He also served on numerous community and economic development boards, such as the Kansas City/Denver Branch of the Federal Reserve. Zions Bancorporation will initiate an immediate search for his successor. Mr. Alexander will remain part-time with Vectra to assist with projects and ensure a smooth transition.
