Coda Octopus Group's Marine Technology Business Unit received an order valued at $1.5 million for its Diver Augmented Vision Display (DAVD) tethered systems, bundled with the Echoscope. These systems are designated for use by various US Navy Commands.
This order represents an additional investment in the DAVD Tethered System, confirming the continued rollout and adoption of this technology within the US Navy. It will expand the community of users, accelerating the adoption curve for the technology.
The inclusion of the Echoscope PIPE real-time 3D Volumetric Sonar as an integral part of the DAVD solution for diving and underwater inspection underscores its importance. This order builds upon a previous March 2025 order for 16 DAVD Untethered Systems (DUS) for the Special Operations Command community, further strengthening the vision for broader DAVD adoption across the Defense diving community.
