CVR Partners announced net income of $18 million, or $1.73 per common unit, for the fourth quarter of 2024, an increase from $10 million, or $0.94 per common unit, in Q4 2023. EBITDA for the quarter rose to $50 million from $38 million in the prior year. Net sales for Q4 2024 were $140 million, a slight decrease from $142 million in Q4 2023.
For the full year 2024, net income was $61 million, or $5.76 per common unit, on net sales of $525 million, compared to $172 million, or $16.31 per common unit, on net sales of $681 million for full-year 2023. The combined ammonia production rate for the year was 96%, with 836,000 tons of ammonia produced.
The company declared a fourth quarter 2024 cash distribution of $1.75 per common unit, payable on March 10, 2025. CEO Mark Pytosh highlighted strong nitrogen fertilizer demand in Q4 despite challenging weather and noted tight supply and increasing prices in the first quarter of 2025, with favorable market conditions for the spring planting season.
